50/50 guard

Dynamic MMA will be closed this Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving weekend.

On Monday and Tuesday, we will be going over some crafty entries into the 50/50 guard or what I like to call the "outside saddle". These are classes you don't want to miss if you want to learn more about lower body positional control and leg locks.

This week--

This week I will not blog what we are working on in our classes. DFCC team members will be fighting on the 12th at Seven Feathers Casino in the "Caged Conflict" event. I do not want to give our fight team's opponents any clue as to what our strategies are.

Anyway, rest assured that what we are working on will be fun, challenging, and highly functional.

Be sure to get your tickets to the Caged Conflict event either on the Seven Feathers website or at the Seven Feathers Box Office. The tickets are going fast, so get your soon.

Also, be sure to order your DFCC T-shirt to show support for our fight team.

 Sankaku-jime--We will work some variations of triangle choke including a couple of turtle turnovers.

Monday is the last day to register for the Oregon Open Gi and No-Gi Jiu-jitsu Championship. Be sure to register as DFCC so that we get our team points for the tournament. You can follow this link to register Oregon Open

This week at Dynamic MMA--September 12-16

On Friday night, DFCC fight team member, Tyler Moug, improved his professional MMA record to 3-0 at Sportfight "Brawl in the Barn" with a 32 second armbar victory over Ty Sharp.

Tyler looks to continue his winning streak at another Sportfight event on October 22nd. We are also looking to get a few of our other fighters on that same card. 

Here is the lineup for this week's training. 

Get the most out of your training. Put thought into the things that you are doing. Approach with a sober mind. Remember that the dojo is a place of learning. "Tomorrow's victories are won in today's practice."
